Academic background

Henrike Rau specialises in environmental sociology and social-scientific sustainability research. Her research projects on (un)sustainable consumption concerning mobility, energy and food include CONSENSUS (www.consensus.ie, 2009-15) and ENERGISE (www.energise-project.eu, 2016-19). She has published 50+ peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and edited collections, including 'Methods of Sustainability Research in the Social Sciences' (Sage, 2013) and 'Challenging Consumption' (Routledge, 2014) .
